January 23 Pray for Potiphar (LB Seminary 2003-2004), the leader of the association of all Evangelical churches in Chad. He works to promote understanding between all religious groups and to avoid the kind of violence that has erupted in neighboring Nigeria. |

January 19 Pray for Ethan Christofferson and other Hakka pastors who are presenting papers at a conference at Jiao-tong University in Hsinchu on mission among the Hakka. Scholars in Hakka studies at the university are sponsoring this event and are interested in knowing more on how Christians are reaching the Hakka. |

January 18 Continue to pray for Steve and Stella as they administer the Lutheran Welcome Center. Pray for good working relations between them and others that work at the Center. Pray for the stamina they need for this ministry. |
