Pray for Dean and Linda Bengtson that they will recognize God's leading and provision for them as they continue to look for a house and ministry building in tsunami-damaged Ishinomaki.

Pray for Dan and Rachel who have settled in Fergus Falls due to health concerns. Pray for God’s provisions of wisdom and strength as they are seeking God’s will for their future.

Joel and Liz ask prayer for Micah who is coming in October to film and create stories of how God has been working through their organization in this creative-access country the past 25 years. Pray for wisdom, for protection for the project and that God will be glorified through it.

Pray for Isaak (8), Noelle (6) and Joey (5), children of Andrew and Kris Larsen, as they continue to attend Chinese school along with some home schooling. Pray for Andrew and Kris as they build relationships with the parents of their children’s classmates.

Pray for Samuel, son of Paul and Teresa, who has the opportunity to study architecture for several months in France.

Pray for John Wile as he teaches from the Word of God at a missionary conference in North Carolina (10/2-5). He and Kathryn then leave to work with missionaries in seven cities in Asia, which involves many spiritual retreats and pastoral counseling.

Dan and Rachel request prayer for an abundant harvest in Chad this month that will offer hope for the coming year. Pray also for a spiritual harvest that brings eternal hope in Jesus.

Pray for Andrew and Kris Larsen and other believers as they develop a relationship with Mr. L and his family. Pray for spiritual openness and for many opportunities to share Christ.

Pray for Arnie and Bonita Nordaas as they retire to Florida after 34 years of service in Japan. Pray for arrangements they are making for a 12-day home-stay for Japanese students who will arrive in late December.

Pray for victory over the spiritual forces of darkness that war against the advance of the Gospel among unreached people groups in Chad. Pray for spiritual breakthroughs and awakening, and for protection of believers and missionaries as they shine the light of Christ through word and deed.

Mike and Delores Kittelson ask prayer for fruit from a combined outreach effort between Victory Hakka Fellowship and Faith Righteousness Church. Pray for a growing passion among believers to reach those in spiritual darkness.

Pray for the residents of the areas devastated by the tsunami in 2011. Pray for God to use the regularly scheduled outreach events in Ishinomaki and other communities to reach hearts with the Gospel and gather them into existing churches and new church plants.

Kris and Andrew Larsen request prayer for relationships they’ve developed with families through their children’s school. Pray for many opportunities to deepen their friendships.

Stephen and Sandra ask prayer for the Gift Resource Center for special needs families, where they volunteered in East Asia. They are currently seeking non-government organization (NGO) registration. Happy birthday to Stephen.

Pray for Paul and Teresa in their search for hired help in meeting the daily demands at the Lutheran Welcome Center. Pray that the missionaries who come there will find rest and refreshment.

Dan and Rachel are on an extended leave of absence from their ministry in Chad for health reasons. Pray for their children’s adjustments to school and for God’s direction for employment and future ministry. Happy 15th birthday to Gabe!

Praise God for the explosive growth of the Church in China in the 20th century that continues today. Pray for the 400+ people groups that still have no church and no sustained Christian witness.

Kris and Andrew Larsen ask for prayer as their children enter the fall school term. Pray for wisdom to meet the challenges of raising bi-cultural children.

Liz and Joel ask prayer for Miss “N” who is a new believer and upon graduation returned home where cultural pressures are strong and there is no church support. Pray that God will bring believers into her life.

September marks the close of the rainy season in Chad and crops are then vulnerable to pests and drought. Pray for a plentiful harvest in Chad—physical and spiritual.

Pray that the Lord will raise up new workers to proclaim the Gospel in this land where about 1% confess faith in Christ. Pray for a committee of LB pastors who are making plans for re-opening the seminary in 2014 under new leadership.

Pray for Mike and Delores Kittelson as they seek out creative ways to spend time with people who usually cannot attend the Victory Hakka Fellowship Meeting each Saturday.

Pray for Teresa as she mentors a couple of Chadian young women in prayer, Bible reading and study. Happy 9th birthday to Micah!

Pray for Roger and Sue Olson and their service with Japanese Ministries at Rock of Ages LBC in Seattle. Pray for connections with new and returning Japanese students in area colleges.

Pray for Jonathan and Zam-Zam as their school begins a new year. Pray for God’s direction in seeking out and hiring four new teachers for the new school year.

Dean and Linda Bengtson ask prayer for their new friendship with the “N” family who are in temporary housing while their house is restored. The “N” family has met hundreds of Christians through the tsunami relief work.

Pray for Jim and Suzy Olsen as they start a new trimester of Spanish language study. Pray that they will meet their study goals before leaving for Ecuador in December to minister with International Teams.
