Praise God that at Christmas over 70 families with special needs children and over 100 volunteers attended an event for The Gift Center! Pray that many families will be touched and take the Christmas message to heart.

February 20
Pray for Dan as he travels today through the 28th visiting Chadian missionaries and evangelists to encourage them and consult with them about their work. Pray for safe travels and deepening of relationships with these colleagues in the Gospel.

February 19
Pray for a friend of Andrew and Kris Larsen, Mr. Z, that he would come to know the Lord. Pray that he would come to see his deep need for Christ.

February 18
Pray for Patience as she continues her education in France. Pray especially as she adjusts to the separation from her family that have returned to Chad.

February 17
Pray for Stephen and Sandra as they have returned to their ministry in a creative-access country. Pray for favor with government officials and continued opportunities to share God’s Good News with neighbors and friends.

February 16
Pray for Nathanael, Carrie, Selma and Cyril in their studies and life in France. Pray for stamina as Carrie studies French and Nathanael continues to pursue a master’s degree. Praise God for their acceptance of the call to work among an unreached people group in Chad.

February 15
Pray for the annual business meeting for Takanosu Church. The congregation will make plans for the church after Arnie and Bonita Nordaas retire in May. Pray for wisdom and guidance for the church leaders.

February 14
Pray for Mike and Delores Kittelson who are now back in Taiwan following their home assignment. Pray for receptivity to the Gospel among the many friends they have made among the Hakka. They ask prayer for wisdom to choose ministry opportunities that would be most effective.

February 13
Pray for the Christian Embassy staff’s move into a new ministry center. Pray that the dedication and receptions will provide opportunities to reconnect with diplomats and invite them into their new location.

February 12
Marina Sato and Yoshimi Abe, who were both baptized in January at Japanese Ministries at Rock of Ages LBC, Seattle, have now returned to Japan. Pray that they will continue to grow in their faith and connect to a church there.

February 11
Pray for Dan and Rachel as they administrate the Welcome Center while continuing work among their unreached people group. Pray for Gabe, Sylvia and Tevi as they attend school and for Claire at home.

February 10
Pray for Dean, Linda, Josh and Chris Bengtson as they do tsunami relief and build friendships among those who have lost so much. Pray for “home dedications” that Dean will lead in Ishinomaki. Pray that God will open many doors for ministry there.

February 9
Liz asks prayer for local friends who are under great financial strain after the birth of their son, an emergency appendectomy for their daughter, and supporting their aging parents. Pray that God will provide and grow their faith even stronger.

February 8
Praise God for the new baby girl born to John and Caristy Olson in January. Pray for good health for baby and mom and a smooth adjustment for older siblings, Nikolas and Mikah, to a baby sister.

February 7
Ethan, Sandy, Caleb and Hannah Christofferson are on home assignment in Montana. Pray for two friends in Taiwan: “Mary” led a close relative who is dying of cancer to faith. Her extended family is very angry that she did this. “John” has recently returned to Christian faith and is seeking God’s will in a difficult life situation.

February 6
Arnie Nordaas asks us to pray for the JLBC Executive Committee meeting which will plan for the upcoming annual convention in March. Pray for safe travel over icy winter roads. This will be Arnie’s last time to attend this meeting.

February 5
Pray for Paul, Teresa, Mercy, Philip, Matthias, Titus and Micah as they adjust to life in Chad again. Pray for good health and a quick transition for all. Happy 14th birthday to Matthias today.

February 4
Pray for Andrew, Kris, Isaak, Noelle and Joey Larsen in the relationships they’ve built within their church. The Christmas outreach had over 100 children in attendance. Pray that En Ling Church would find effective ways to build relationships with these children and their families.

February 3
Pray for John and Kathy Wile as they minister to our missionaries in Japan, Feb. 8-15. The visit includes a spiritual life conference on the 11th-13th. Pray that all will be encouraged through the ministry of God’s Word.

February 2
Pray for Joel, Liz, Nate and Tim as they travel to and take part in their annual conference. Pray that they would be inspired and refreshed as a family, and be strengthened for ministry.

February 1
Pray for Kirsten, Elysia Larson (Kirsten’s sister from Fergus Falls) and Beth Loken and Belinda Christianson from Triumph LBC, Moorhead, MN, along with Rachel, who are facilitating a spiritual retreat for missionary women. They will also work to finish the library project at the Welcome Center. Pray that the Holy Spirit will encourage and renew many.

January 31
Pray for John and Caristy Olson working in the English ministries department at Victory LBC. Pray for growth in language skills and for opportunities to build relationships for outreach and disciple-making.

January 30
Heidi Jensen reports the diplomats from 128 countries attended events hosted by Christian Embassy in 2010. Pray that the Lord will use this and other ministries to impact the lives of UN diplomats for His Kingdom.

January 29
Pray for the L family, neighbors of Andrew and Kris Larsen. The children play together and are in school together. Pray that God will use these friendships to show His love for them.

January 28
Pray for Marcos and Kirsten as they share in churches about their work among unreached people groups in Chad. Happy 13th birthday to Hans today.

January 27
Dan and Rachel ask prayer for the Church in Chad to be salt and light in this country, and pray that we as a mission will have wisdom in how to come alongside them in reaching the lost.

January 26
Pray for Dean and Linda Bengtson as they seek God’s leading toward a possible church plant in the Ishinomaki area. Pray for Japanese volunteers who can work alongside them in this new venture.

January 25
Pray for Yushin and Takako (missionaries from CLB-Japan) and their translating assistants. Pray for their safety and for spiritual and physical strength for their tasks.

January 24
Tomorrow is the Lunar New Year in Taiwan. Pray that believers will share the hope in Christ with family members and give Christian expression to respect for parents and ancestors.  Happy birthday to Andrew Larsen today.

January 23
Pray for Joel and Liz and Stephen and Sandra as they attend a conference in Thailand. Pray that they will all have safe travel and be encouraged through the Word of God in worship and in fellowship with colleagues and friends.

January 22
Pray for Mike and Delores Kittelson as they say good-bye to family and friends, and as they entrust one another to God’s care. Pray for safe travel as they return to Taiwan on February 1st.
